Parking
As with any urban campus, parking is particularly difficult around Penn. We suggest that you park in the Penn Tower, Penn visitor parking near the Palestra on 33rd Street and another lot on the northwest corner of 34th and Chestnut. Unmetered parking is available between 40th and 44th and you should remain between Spruce and Walnut if possible.

From the Northeast
Take feeder roads to the New Jersey Turnpike. Exit at exit 3, bearing right after the toll onto New Jersey Route 168 North. In approximately one mile, exit onto Interstate 295 South. Follow I295- South approximately one mile to the Interstate 76 West/ Walt Whitman Bridge exit (it is a left hand exit). Once on I-76, keep to the left and cross over the Walt Whitman Bridge. After the toll, follow I-76 West to the South Street exit. Make a left off the exit ramp. Follow South Street (it turns into Spruce Street to 33rd Street.

From the South
Follow Interstate 95 North to the Pennsylvania Route 291/Interstate 76 Philadelphia exit (it is near Philadelphia International Airport). As you cross the Platt Bridge, follow signs to I-76 West—you will make a left urn at the traffic light at the end of the bridge. This road will feed you into I-76 West. Exit at the South Street exit. Make a left off the exit ramp. Follow South Street (it will turn into Spruce Street) to 33rd Street.

From the West
Follow the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 76) east to exit 24 (Valley Forge-Philadelphia). Exit the turnpike here. From exit 24, take I-76 east to Central Philadelphia. Exit at the South Street exit. Make a right off the exit ramp. Follow South Street (it will turn into Spruce Street) to 33rd Street.

From the Northwest
Follow the Pennsylvania Turnpike-Northeast Extension (Pennsylvania Route 9) south to its junction with the east-west turnpike. Follow signs for Interstate 476 and proceed on I-476 South to its interchange with Interstate 76. Take I-76 East towards Philadelphia. Exit at the South Street exit (exit 40, on the left). Make a right off the exit ramp. Follow South Street, it will turn into Spruce Street.
