Tournament Directors & PFYD Officers

President: Amy Wei is the President of Penn for Youth Debate.  This is her second year directing the LBC.  She has previously served as Tournament Director of PFYD and Judge’s Chair and Tournament Director for her high school’s biannual tournaments.  In 2007, she placed in the top 33 at NFL Nationals and 2nd at state in Public Forum debate.

Vice President: Mike Contillo is the Vice President of Penn for Youth Debate; he has also previously served as Tournament Director for PFYD. Mike has co-directed past LBCs and has successfully organized two round robins at the University of Pennsylvania. In 2008, Mike placed 2nd at the New York State Championship in Lincoln Douglas debate.

Tournament Director: Stefanie Rohde is the Liberty Bell Classic Tournament Director for Penn for Youth Debate, and helped to run the Voices of Philadelphia tournament last spring. She competed for four years in LD debate for Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, Maryland. She debated on the local and national circuits, and qualified twice to the TOC.
